In this instance it's not even about Brexit or Remain.

Correct.

Which part of concise did you not understand?

You don't, Terence does.

And quite fankly, why would historical events cause offence? I'm genuinely bemused by the reaction to it. I gave two analogies, one about British troops being killed in WW2 (apparently ok) the other about the British governman dealing with who they didn't want to.

To be honest, I simply cannot see how anybody could take any offence whatsoever about my examples.

Either they saw the word remianer and some form of histerical over reacton happened, or it's merely an excuse to have a pop at me again, I favour the latter.

Dude, if I wanted to be offensive about anything, there is a hell of a lot more things in the world I could use instead, rather than historical facts.

But why let reasoning get in the way of a good ol wakawoo bashing.
did you not read what I said?
Why should Terence have to apologise to you?
IMO he doesn't have to apologise to you, you have to apologise to him!!
If you read back through your posts there were certain comments made that WERE offensive and like I said previously YES WE DO KNOW what has happened in Northern Ireland's history and like I said it is a subject wherever we come from on this forum it is a subject that NONE OF US I repeat, NONE OF US wish to discuss or wish to have that history dragged up like the way you did.
You may think that you was making a honest and fair point, but trust me you chose the wrong way to go about making it!! Not only that have you forgotten how many INNOCENT people lost their lives through it all?

EU can look at it and give way on 7, really. The extremist nutters like IDS or Farage will want all 12, but there's no chance they'll get that many. Unless they're so flimsy as to be not worth the bother anyway.

Which 7 would you hedge your bets on them giving way?

I bet it will still be a pretty expensive divorce one way or another by the time it is fully completed

Even my mum rang me the other night to ask "What does Brexit mean? we can't find it in the dictionary" laugh laugh I had to tell her that there wouldn't be a dictionary meaning for it other than a word coined to label the process of us leaving the EU, it is only about the second or third time she has asked me that question I would doubt very much if the dictionary writers will include it until the process is complete

I mis read the first part, but my possition stays the same, I didn't have a fowl mouth rant at any one, if there is any apologies being handed out it is he to me.

Has for the rest of your silly rant.

I made no offensive comments whatsoever, I made two examples of having to deal with situation you would rather not, BOTH that in the long run more lives will be saved, by the way, millions of innocent lives were lost in WW2 or doesn't that bother you?

If you DO know what happened, you will know what I said is 100% correct.

As for 'NONE OF US I repeat, NONE OF US wish to discuss', what is this a 3rd world dictatorship? Apart from that, you do know that I wasn't even talking about the troubles at all dont you? no more so than I was talking about world war 2.

The problem is, as usual, your gross sensitivity and over reaction to somehting that was nothing more than an example.

So I've forgotton how many lives have been lost? does this include in WW2 as well? Even though the whole point was these deals were done to save lives, which has happened?

Seriously dude.

Thezza being dubbed "the new Iron Lady" on the front of the Daily Mail. That would be after Maggie "signed the Single European Act in 1985" Thatcher, yeah?

She was no friend of Europe though. And tight up the US president.

Guess with being in the EU then for over a decade and no other referendums, it was a matter of you have to sign.

Nor was there freedom of movement as we know it, that only came about in 2004

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Citizens_R...ctive_2004

ANNNNND queue mass exodus; apparently the EU worked ok without it before then.

It does befuddle the mind in wondering who thought this was necessary, when visa would perfectly surfice and how they couldn't for see any problems that might arise for it, let alone their stuborn refusal to abandon it. It's like Germany having open boarder policy, I mean. what could possibly go wrong.

Quote:It gives EEA citizens the right of free movement and residence across the European Economic Area, as long as they are not an undue burden on the country of residence and have comprehensive health insurance This right also extends to close family members that are not EEA citizens.

After five years, the right of residence becomes permanent

^ WTF
I still don't think you have grasped what I said, did you?
I don't care if you was talking about the troubles or not to me it is a subject that should have completely NOTHING to do with Brexit IMHO
I still can't see how the f**K you can attach the two together and think you are making a valid point on Brexit by using the examples you suggested
Let me put it you one more time
Northern Ireland's past for many of us is a subject that we DO NOT WANT to see dragged up or discussed or mentioned on this forum

And as for my gross sensitivity?
now you DO owe me and apology I did not over react in any shape or form dude
