Supergirl

Finished episode 10, which was again better than I expected. I was not taken with stuff about "ooh, Livewire is my nemesis" because I don't think she's that good, but at least they had a new plot for her, and it allowed some softening of the whole "I hate her, she's just evil" attitude. The ending was also impressive, any time a villain takes a deal makes them more credible. And the whole martian subplot sets up the next story. I was bemused that M'gann doesn't tell J'onn that trouble is coming until after he's rescued her. I also expected Mon-el would take over the Guardian suit, but hey, still 12 episodes to go.

A fun Ep the last time the character of Mr Mxyzptlk was seen was in the tv show Smallville. For me above Ep for me I felt the Ep was little too bogged down with romance and drama even tho I know it was supposed to be a Valentines Ep all tho a little late. I get this feeling with certain characters like Jimmy the writers have no idea what to with his story arc.

A few Easter Eggs:

Aside from the young Lex, you get to see his father in th flashbacks notice the name Lionel Luthor the same name as the one used in the tv series Smallville.

Jimmy tells Kara that Lex and Clark were best friends since Smallville until Lex changed again taken from the tv show Smallville.

You see Lex's Krypton suit from the comics.

You can tell that Lena might turn one day similar to Lex again in Smallville.

Watched episode 11, which was a bit easier than some with its slight plot. Felt there was a massive plot hole though about the White Martians in the DEO, given the time between the 2nd M'gann and the lockdown seemed to be less than a minute, yet somehow two different duplications could happen & other stuff. Presumably there will be more Martian hi-jinks later in the series (or next series, if they've any patience).
