Not sure why that 50/60bn quids is such a threat either, it's spread over a few years, may have been previously agreed to (so faair enough) from a country that has a GNP of trillions.

Let's see how far the "divorce bill" falls when we commission a full audit of EU Assets and demand our share.

So the EU plan to give us a large bill when we leave.
But they will be pleased if we then rejoin.

Will we get the money back

Why do you say that, just out of curiosity?

All it needs is a Rejoin The EU party to win a majority at a general election. That doesn't seem impossible to me, especially if Brexit turns out to be bad for the UK economy.

You obviously think it is impossible for that to happen, so I'm genuinely curious to know why you think so.

£60 Billion is only about half the Nhs budget for a year. Makes you wonder why it's in crisis when we have 'trillions' slopping around

this 60 billion is for the 2 years we are in talks and also something to do with the pensions of EU people prob all the pensions of all the MEP's there has been for god knows how long on 3X average salary. So bascially we have to pay for fucking Farages pension thats one reason for us to tell them where to stick it

think they dont want to pay because of the politics of it. think about it Boris and Co spent all campaign about giving 350 million a week to EU. and then to leave we have to give them 60 Billion when the NHS and Care system and the schools are in crisis.

They should waive that and declare they want to see it being put to good use within the above named services
