Hmmm, I thought, Hannah is looking even better than normal tonight...



...actually, looking closer, that's not bad picture quality (by Lamestation standards)! Quick check, and the bitrate seems to be around 2000kbps, whereas it used to be more like 800kbps, AFAIK - Temporary oversight/aberration, or a permanent improvement?

Fingers crossed for the latter, as their streams could do with considerable improvement, IMO.

i really just dont get it.why put hot babes on the day shows and apart from danni on tonight ,and yes each to their own tastses but ffs how can you compare charlie and leigh to the likes of sapphire and elle on days ,first thing i do is switch over friday night as well

I don't switch over when Charley (not Charlie is on) Especially when she has her magnificent natural assets unleashed

Looks like it finally happened with Dannii in the shower. Too bad I was so bored & switched off long before that time lol.

Yes when I checked my recording I was SHOCKED at how late into the show it was let alone who it was! It was quite good BUT would have been better ( for callers as well?) earlier on!

It's better, but the streams still have the same trouble with horizontal lines with movement though. Not sure what the correct term for it is.

If anything, I think 2000kb/s is a bit too high, as the picture resolution hasn't changed from 720x404. 12/1500kb/s would be better.
At 2000 the data usage for recording the stream shoots up massively. Then again it should handle the detailed/glittery sets ok now though.

Hate to sound like I'm complaining, when the increase really is a much needed, long hoped for step in the right direction.

^ It's definitely better, but, as you say, problems remain - this is Lamestation, after all - we wouldn't expect them to get things right, now, would we?!

Yeah, I don't know what the 'tear-y thing' (correct technical description, I think you'll find! ) is, but it is one of the many annoying things about their streams.

As for increased file sizes, perhaps it's good that I rarely keep anything these days...

You never know, perhaps the higher bitrate is a precursor to increased resolution? Hell, maybe Full HD!!!! Then again...

Once all the problems are sorted , all that's needed then is greatly improved content, and we're laughing!

Think the problem is more with how BS are encoding or de-intelacing from their cameras (or capture card). The bit rate itself won't affect that. Been a problem with their streams for years now
