Murray beat Del Potro in straight sets 7-6 7-5 6-0

First set was crucial given how slow and heavy the court was playing today, on this form barring injury Del Potro he will be back in top 10 soon

Murray's now back in action in the last 16 vs Karen Khachanov

Murray currently is a break up in the 1st set 4-2

He's looking strong now. It's difficult to stop him in the latter stages of slams when he gets on a roll. Brilliant performance against a quality player in Del Potro and now looking solid against one of the games future stars - Khachanov.

Andy should be able to get to the final again at least. After that I assume it's either Rafa or Novak who'll await on Sunday. A big chance to take advantage of what on paper looks a favourable draw on his side, with Rafa and Novak duking it out in the other half. Hopefully their match will be an exhausting five set semi-final thriller and the winner will be knackered for the final against Murray.

I really want him to win this French Open now.

Andy Murray is back in action against Japan's Kei Nishikori

Andy is currently a break down 2-4 in the first set

Murray was outplayed in the first set losing it 2-6, but bounched back to easily win the second set 6-1. Level in the third.

Murray has beaten Nishikori 2-6 6-1 7-6 6-1 and will play Wawrinka in the semi-final.
