Finally slogged to the end of episode 18 (the nanobots one). I obviously didn't take to it well. Some nice touches, though, and nice to have Kara and Snapper somewhat reconciled after all.

The co-creator of the show Ali Adler has left and will be doing development projects for CBS Jessica Queller and Robert Rovner will be taking over.

Hey folks, I've finished episode 19. Seemed weird to suddenly throw in this guy with a long-held grudge against Kara, but otherwise a combo of simple "find the hostage" plot and "two contrasting people have to learn from each other's styles". It didn't quite resolve where I might have thought, but OK. Also a nice moment when Kara has to brush Lena off when she would have done well to listen. But then that's how life works too.

3 episodes to go! Still 3 and a half months before the new series starts! I can do it!

There goes episode 20, a bit of building for the finale, I guess. James getting his own plotline about racism, er, about finding his role in life was a shade more interesting than Rhea pulling the wool over Lena's eyes (heck, if she leaves her phone lying around, how careless is she?). The drama of the conclusion was tempered by Mon-El's pretty feeble "Imma shoot you now, mother" stand-off attempt. Shoot her in the foot, damnit! At least make some show of defiance!

Smallville actress Erica Durance is joining the cast of Supergirl. She will be taking over actress Laura Benanti who plays Alura Kara's real mum, all we need now is Tom Welling.
