I see Trump has announced he's donating $1m to the disaster relief effort in Texas. I'm sure that's appreciated but I do wish he'd done it without any public announcement as it looks like he's trying to buy good press and possibly votes.

His idiot son Eric has already tried to make political capital out of it by tweeting how proud he was and saying "Let's see if CNN or the main stream media acknowledge this incredible generosity. My guess:they won't..."

CNN's reply was to tell him they'd covered the donation on air and on-line well before his tweet ?

Some are also wondering if the donation will come directly from Trump or his Foundation (reasons being the Foundation is funded by other people - Trump hasn't directly contributed for years)

I recall after George Michael died it was revealed how much he had donated over the years all without any publicity. That is class.
