Tales from the Borderlands (PS4);

Interactive adventure (rather than the previous Borderlands FPS) game by Telltale Games set in the Borderlands universe.For anyone familiar with Telltales previous games ie Walking Dead,Wolf Among Us etc this is the similiar dialogue driven (where your choice of answers reflects your relationship with colleagues & people you meet), Part click & point with splashes of Quick Time Events (QTE's) thrown in.You play as both Rhys (A Hyperian employee) & Fiona (a con-artist) as there paths meet up by chance but they both have the same objective obtain a Vault Key.
As anyone familiar with the Borderlands games they are fooking bonkers as this game carries that tradition & is very witty at times.There is one crazy moment in the game where you play as Rhys who has to infiltrate a sleeping bandit camp to obtain the removed face (skin pizza they call it in the game) of his former boss that one of the bandit's is wearing (think Leatherface from Texas Chainsaw Massacre).
The game is divided over 5 chapters where each chapter is about 2 hours long (10+ hours game length) with an absorbing & witty storyline.This game is also pretty easy at getting trophies & getting Platinum 100% (if your trophy obsessed like me on the PS4).

A good game overall that does suffer at times from one of gamings cardinal sins; Unskippable Cut-Scenes (Grrrrrrrrr !). 7/10.

Gears of war 4 specifically the hordes mode is where it is at

Completed the game 100% Synch, I've completed every Assassins Creed game 100% Synch except Unity & Syndicate on PS4 which I haven't started them both yet.

Overwatch (Xbone);

One of the most addictive online games has just got a lot more errrrr addictive with added game modes 8 player death-match (first player to 20 kills) & 4 vs 4 team death match (first team to 30 kills).No matter what game I start out playing ie Call of Duty Infinite Warfare,Prey etc I always end up going back to Overwatch.

Just Cause 3

Thank god I never paid for this game as it was free on PSN+.
The game is poor, bad AI, poor loading times, enemies that appear out of thin air, game bugs and the game crashes. No wonder the game flopped and no way a Next Gen game avoid it.

I think the free games on PS+ over the past few months have been pretty dire tbh particularly as they've raised the subscription price.I thought Just Cause 3 wasn't a bad game & if I'm honest I found the mini games far better than the main game itself.
There are various mini games where you have to hang-glide (in a winged suit) through various ringed courses, there are various destruction levels & assassination levels & driving levels.The biggest infuriation about the game was the lack of a jump button & the fact you can freely roam around the vast island but you cannot climb or jump over a few rocks or a brick wall did my bollocks in.

Couldn't agree more the free PSN+ games have been lame even this month the American line up is better then the UK line up so it's like we're being short changed, when the PS3 was in its prime the PSN+ free games were better on there along with good themes and avatars.
The PS4 has been out long enough for them to put decent games especially as membership as gone up as high as a tenner a year and there not offering extra to justify the increase.
As for Just Cause 3 I agree again no jump button or good cover system, along with poor AI.

Thief PS4

Another game I grew disappointed with it gives you the option of playing stealth but it feels like your not fully in control. You can knock some light sources like candles but most of lights you can't take out to make it darker as for the combat poor. Games like Dishonoured do a much better job.
