Integrated webcam stopped working

Hi Guys & Girls

I have downloaded the latest update to my windows (i'm using windows 10) Since the upgrade my integrated webcam doesn't work at all. I have tried it on chat roulette where it just says my webcam shows no activity. On adultwork my webcam doesn't work on c2c.

I have checked the youcam app (which is linked to my webcam and it shows it's working) but when i go to use it on websites it just shows a black screen in the corner. I have an hp truevision hd integrated webcam.

I am a bit of a tech novice so if anybody has any suggestions how to fix this and can explain it to me in simple terms i would be very much appreciative.

Thanks I will give it a try.

I've tried to get my integrated webcam working after windows update but to no avail. Before i take laptop to a shop to see if they can fix it does anybody have any other possible solution i can try.

Failing that technical piece of advice... Give it a good boshing!!


Or try uninstalling the driver, then reboot ur pc/laptop & try reinstalling it anew. Worked for me.
