Red Dwarf

Thought the 4th ep was an improvement, even if much of it was rather chronic playing to the gallery.

Another good one this week. Been pretty good this year so far.

agree been a very good series so far and loved the nice nod to the very first ep of red dwarf at the end of yesterday's episode

Another indulgent episode for the finale, but overall it feels like it's been a good series.

To celebrate Red Dwarf’s 30th birthday, Dave is having red dwarf night from 9pm-1am tonight showing 6 excellent episodes

Even after 30 years this is a show I still regularly watch and still enjoy. An absolute cornerstone of my growing up. All the decent early seasons being on Netflix is handy.

Of course, if I'd remembered sooner, I could have mentioned the imminence of the new episode sooner too.

The Promised Land
Half-decent feature-length episode with multiple fan-pleasing continuity references, including the central reference back to events last considered back in Series 1 in 1988.

I thought the promised land was fantastic and was laughing throughout with lots of good one liners, visual gags & references to classic dwarf

Red Dwarf: The Promised Land is repeated tonight at 9pm on Dave

It's definitely worth watching if you're a fan, very entertaining stuff with lots of funny moments.
