RE: Supergirl
In the cold light of morning, there are 2 other glaring problems with the lead poisoning episode, and they both boil down to the same thing.
Kara finds the evidence of pollution, and tells Lena.
Lena lies and goes to confront Edge.
She then wakes up on a remote controlled transport plane with "the rest of" the evidence.
Now clearly it takes time to collect stuff, load it onto a plane, start the plane, etc, but even allowing for the incredible coincidence that Lena arrived at the exact moment Edge planned to conclude his plan, where is Kara during all this? She just takes the evidence back to the DEO and chills out?
How will killing Lena in a crashed plane help Edge? The water might be polluted but why would Lena have killed herself in the process? Guilt is one thing, but surely if he wanted it to look like suicide, she would hardly do it by travelling on a plane with no other people and crashing it into a lake? Are the containers supposed to dissolve on landing?
And so on.
The other thing is the sting at the end with Ruby's Mum, who finds a bullet and realises she was in fact shot after all, but somehow unharmed. Shot, SEVERAL DAYS BEFORE. I can buy that she blocked out what happened in shock, or didn't realise, but that she didn't change her clothes for several days??!
Anyway, I suppose at least it's interesting.
