You just have to look at how the Racist groups in the US have celebrated what Trump said to realise that by making such statements he is seen by them as "giving permission" for their hateful views. Don't forget that Trumps father was arrested at a KKK event in New York in 1927. Now I haven't seen it proven that he was a Klansman BUT contemperaneous news articles say he was arrested for refusing to disperse. Donalds response it to say it never happened whereas if he was not a rascist surely he would have been more than happy to say his dad fought against them rather than deny it ever happened.

Judge Arpaio (the racist sheriff who was found guilty of disobeying a court order not to racially profile people and who Trump pardoned last year) has blamed the Hawaiian government because they must be bad as they weren't even able to prove Obama wasn't born there.

Will Trump order investigation?

They already know what happened, so why would he, other than to waste taxpayers money a bit more of course.
