Street Fighter V Arcade Edition
I sold my old version and another game to cover the costs of arcade edition I should have had the game sooner but my copy got nicked in the post and had to wait till I got order a replacement.
This the game that Capcom should have released the first time around and if they had of done it would have sold like hot cakes. The new arcade modes where can play as Street Fighter, Street Fighter II, Street Fighter III, Street Fighter Alpha 1, Street Fighter IV and Street Fighter V each version has the remixed music/intro from the each of games my personal fav Street Fighter II music. One thing missing is Sagat which he’ll be available later so the Street Fighter & Street Fighter II fight order feels a little mixing. All the characters have been balanced up and given a new super move and other modes now available.
As Jack said to get the Season 1 and 2 DLC it’s a digital code not on the disc so if you really want it buy it brand new. Now you get all the season 1 and 2 chracters unlocked but where I was disappointed is things like costumes and stages from season 1 and 2 you still have to buy them, plus with season 3 slowly coming out you would have buy the characters & stages there too which is disappointing no doubt Capcom will release a complete version later down the line shock to make money. You can use fight money you earned to buy the stuff but it takes ages or real money and thsts bloody dear. I think it’s misleading that the artwork on the disc says arcade edition but really it’s the normal street fighter 5 and it updates to arcade edition and you get a digital code to get the season 1 & 2 characters but season 3.
All tho it’s a huge improvement I can’t help but feel your not getting your money’s worth. All tho different games and different playing styles games like Injustice 2 all that has DLC content, Mortal Kombat XL, Dragonball Z and Theken 7 offer more and better content do your getting your money’s worth.
With the release of Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection coming out in May with 12 games from Street Fighter to Street Fighter III and the Alpha games all tho there older games it’s money for value. Am getting that fir Nintendo Switch as I can play it on the tv and portable, Arcade Edition is still good just still not complete and maybe little too late but as a street fighter fan I still like it just could have been so much more with content.
