Grid Girls banned. Discussion.

So the shit has hit the fan as F1 has banned the use of Grid Girls

Yep & F1 clearly were trying to bury this news as a result given it was announced early on a Wednesday afternoon & it’s transfer deadline day.

A decision taken by men after absolutely no discussion with the grid girls around the world who have now lost a source of income. As F1 is now owned by Liberty Media I wonder if they will refuse to broadcast any US sport that has female cheerleaders who typically wear a lot less that the F1 grid girls

There are surely alternatives to axing them completely, like outfits that aren't as revealing or figure hugging, or hiring some male models along side the female models to balance it out a bit. It's only sexist (if that's their reason for doing this), while the women are being openly objectified, so a few changes could make it less so and still keep the models employed.

Are F1 grid girls really that scantily dressed anyway same with the darts girls hardly in bikini's

All they need to do is give them a new title like "sponsor ambassadors", they are partly there to display the advertising logos on their outfits.
Read that even the Tour de France won't have podium girls this year.

poor cyclists having spending up to 5 hours in the saddle travelling hundreds of KM up fucking mountains and they dont get to stand on the podium with some hot french totty

They will be trying to get rid of american cheer leaders next
