RE: Currently playing/enjoying/hating
^^^ Only just ordered the Arcade Edition but from what I have read it’s supposed to be on the disc when it arrives i’ll update the information or maybe someone else if they get it.
My fav characters at the moment I play with is Ryu and Ken, I am pretty good with Cammy and of recent was using Guile. I update my normal Street Fighter 5 to the arcade edition and but with the cheap price of the physical version which has Season 1 and 2 gonna grade that in today.
I had no idea that Season 3 has to be grinned out with fight money or buying the season 3 i thought by buying the physical arcade edition it would have everything and Season 3 would unlock later along when the content is released. Sounds like typical Capcom with trying to make more money, remember the stuff Street Fighter X Tekken lol.

Streetfighter V Arcade Edition;

Game arrived in the post on Saturday morning so I've had a good day & a half playthrough on the various modes & I'd definitely agree with the reviewers that THIS IS THE GAME that Capcom should have released back in 2016 (instead of the bare-bones game that was the original).
On installing the disc the game itself is 19GB download but there is a monster 13.5GB download patch (the various updates etc) but all the characters from both Season 1 & 2 are locked in the game & have to be unlocked with either a Voucher Code (that comes with the game) or by using the in-game currency which I found a bit of a bollocks because if I lent the game to a friend they only get to play a bare-bones game. Also just to say Season 3 isn't on the disc & so to unlock future characters will have to either be bought (with a Season 3 Pass) or through in-game currency.

The addition of various Arcade modes was long overdue as not everyone wants to play online all the time & it is a good mode to sharpen-up on you skills before playing against online opponents or your mates. The game itself is very polished, the fighting is first class with a wealth of characters to master.

I'd like to think that after the huge amount of criticism that Capcom received over the original SFV game (& the lack of sales as a result) about releasing unfinished games would serve as a notice to publishers/game makers. In truth Capcom has made some ground in pretty much remaking & re-releasing a SFV into the game it should have been. However I do suspect that after all the Season 3 characters have been released there will be a Streetfighter V Complete Edition (Capcom have previous form on doing things like this).

Rating 8.5/10 (would have been a 9 if not for the locked content on the disc).

Arena of Valor Beta Nintendo Switch

Was sent this code to try out the Beta.

Mortal Kombat XL PS4

Gone to playing this game again until my copy of Street Fighter V Arcade Edition turns as I sold my other version of it. What I like about Mortal Kombat XL is that the entire content is on the disc not a code.
I already had Destiny and I found a pre owned copy of the Destiny Collection i assumed the contents was on the disc only to find out that that the additional stuff was on a digital code which was already used took me ages to convince Game that I wanted a refund.

inFamous Second Son PS4

Completed it with the good karma storyline now doing it again but with the evil storyline.

Mighty Gunvolt Burst Demo Nintendo Switch.

Looks and feels a lot like a mega man which isn’t a bad thing but also adds new elements to the game to help it stand out a little. Love how all the enemies have energy bars too not just the end of level bosses which most games usually do.

inFamous Second Son

Completed it now on both good & bad karma both very different ending so enjoyed. The stand out thing about the game was graphics all it’s a older game as I think it came out around the launch of the PS4 the graphics look really good with the different powers you get especially the neon powers.
Things I didn’t like about the game were the enemies I thought were bland and boring they were much better in the 2 previous inFamous games, they also took out being able to use cover from the previous which they should have left in. All the characters were good in this game i prefer characters from the previous games. All in all a good game but I preferred the first and second inFamous games.

Street Fighter V Arcade Edition

I sold my old version and another game to cover the costs of arcade edition I should have had the game sooner but my copy got nicked in the post and had to wait till I got order a replacement.
This the game that Capcom should have released the first time around and if they had of done it would have sold like hot cakes. The new arcade modes where can play as Street Fighter, Street Fighter II, Street Fighter III, Street Fighter Alpha 1, Street Fighter IV and Street Fighter V each version has the remixed music/intro from the each of games my personal fav Street Fighter II music. One thing missing is Sagat which he’ll be available later so the Street Fighter & Street Fighter II fight order feels a little mixing. All the characters have been balanced up and given a new super move and other modes now available.
As Jack said to get the Season 1 and 2 DLC it’s a digital code not on the disc so if you really want it buy it brand new. Now you get all the season 1 and 2 chracters unlocked but where I was disappointed is things like costumes and stages from season 1 and 2 you still have to buy them, plus with season 3 slowly coming out you would have buy the characters & stages there too which is disappointing no doubt Capcom will release a complete version later down the line shock to make money. You can use fight money you earned to buy the stuff but it takes ages or real money and thsts bloody dear. I think it’s misleading that the artwork on the disc says arcade edition but really it’s the normal street fighter 5 and it updates to arcade edition and you get a digital code to get the season 1 & 2 characters but season 3.
All tho it’s a huge improvement I can’t help but feel your not getting your money’s worth. All tho different games and different playing styles games like Injustice 2 all that has DLC content, Mortal Kombat XL, Dragonball Z and Theken 7 offer more and better content do your getting your money’s worth.
With the release of Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection coming out in May with 12 games from Street Fighter to Street Fighter III and the Alpha games all tho there older games it’s money for value. Am getting that fir Nintendo Switch as I can play it on the tv and portable, Arcade Edition is still good just still not complete and maybe little too late but as a street fighter fan I still like it just could have been so much more with content.

Call of Duty Advanced Warefare PS4

All tho I prefer my Call of Duty games more realistic all tho am early on in the game am so far enjoying it. What I like that’s different is in the campaign mode you earn points to upgrade your character.

Assassins Creed Unity PS4

I’ve been big fan of games since the very first Assassins Creed game. What I did like about Unity is the amount of people that can be displayed on screen at the same time giving you the look of a full city of people, the graphics are great are good along with the custom changes you can make to your character. The story is pretty good too along with the controls which feel smooth with new game engine.
What let’s the game down is that it was rushed causing bad glitches and can cause the game to crash. When it first came out the game was bugged to hell but they patch the game but the damage was already all tho it’s a lot better now there’s still bugs in the game which is unfortunate as you can see the ambition of the game. It still suffers problems from the other assassins games where sometimes your character doesn’t climb or keeps grabbing on to things like his Spider-Man which can be a pain, I also didn’t like that they changed certain features from the previous games. There’s horses or anything to speed up travelling through the city but there are fast travel points. Over I did like and enjoy the game but it was just frustrating with the bugs that let down the game.
