Pokken Tournament DX Demo Nintendo Switch

All I can saw judging from the demo is it’s so much fun.

Wolfenstein 2 Shadow of the Colossus (PS4);

The 3rd game in re-booted franchise set directly after the first game in the year 1961 (The New Order) where the 2nd game (The Old Blood) was a prequal set in 1946 (it's more confusing than it actually sounds.In the game you get to reprise the the role grizzled,battle hardened,tough-nut B.J Blazkowic (whose was in both previous games) again taking on the Nazi regime.Blazkowic is the type of character that makes old John Rambo look like a choir-boy & who's neck-snapping skills is only outdone by his dry-humoured quips he often makes whilst despatching a hapless foe.

After blowing up General Deathshead ( villain of The New Order) as well as himself Blazkowic is literally pieced back together (entrails & all) by his Resistance comrades where he ends up looking very much like a patch-work quilt.Pieced back together Blazkowic & his band of merry-men turn their attention to the Nazi's & Hitler who have taken over the world.The game also focuses at times on Blazkowic's abusive childhood at the hands of his repulsive father through recreated scenes but don't worry old Blazkowic Senior does get his come-uppance.

This is another very good game of in the Wolfenstein trilogy with a strong single player narrative & not some tacked-on effort with more emphasis a multi-player like some games makers do.Being critical it doesn't really do anything different to the other two games & is merely a cut & re-paste but the gameplay is strong regardless with great graphics as well.The guns feel weighty & taking on & destroying huge mech like robots can certainly be pleasing on the eye & a sense of achievement.The best thing about games like this is the multi-faceted approach you can take whether you want to take on hords of Nazi's all guns blazing or if like me you can hide in the shadows take out the enemy by stealth & nobody will know or even see you,the choice as they say is yours.
The game does offer plenty of replay value with new challenges etc after completion.

I managed to complete the game with 98% trophy achievement on the PS4 with the only trophy eluding me from the Platinum 100% was the 'Mein Leben' trophy that requires you to complete the game on the hardest difficulty without losing a life which is described by many gamers & reviewers as virtually impossible to do.

Game rating 8.5/10 (with 0.5 mark taken off for the virtually impossible Mein Leben trophy).

Streets of Rage Trilogy PS3

These games are so good, the music to each of the games unforgettable. Started the first one now on to the second game.

Vostok Demo Nintendo Switch.

A shooter where you have mine astroids and planets, it uses similar controls to Robotron and Smash Tv with the twin stick controls. Really enjoyed the game.

Call of Duty Advanced Warefare PS4

Really enjoyed the campaign and the storyline along with the graphics which looked really good especially with the cut scenes where they looked totally real. Having Kevin Spacey as the villain believe it or not worked and with how things turned out with him in real life.
I do have issues with the game the jet packs are annoying it’s not so bad in the campaign mode but the online part of game bloody annoying, so it maybe just me but one or two people i know who have played it agree with me that the weapons a feel really weak with the amount of damage they do whether it’s the campaign or online even the bullet effects sound really weak. I wasn’t a fan of the online modes won’t bore people with why but didn’t find it fun or enjoyable it was decent. My fav Call of Duty Online was for me Black Ops 1.

Isle Of Man TT - Ride On The Edge - Xbox One

Really enjoying this game at the moment. The sensation of speed is second to none.
The detailing of all the tracks is high quality, especially the full 37 mile TT course. The fantasy tracks are of good standard, varying from tight and twisty to flat out speed.
The bike selection is good, with official TT Supersports and Superbikes from Kawasaki, Yamaha, Honda, BMW, Triumph, Norton, EBR and Suter. There's also an update due soon to add Sidecars to the lineup.
The handling physics are pretty easy to get to grips with, but that's dependant on how you have your assists set up, traction control, anti-wheelie etc. If you've played any of the Ride titles it will feel different, almost strange at first, but it quickly becomes enjoyable.
The career mode is the only area I've played so far but there are the other usual suspects you'd expect in a racing title, Quick Race, Time Trial and of course, multiplayer.
I've spent many hours learning the TT course and posted some decent times on the leaderboards, top 15 in the Supersport category and 3rd place for the Superbike but I'm still learning.
All in all, I think it's a fantastic game and likely to be the only thing I play for some time.

Assassins Creed Syndicate Special Edition PS4

Injustice 2;Legendary Edition (PS4).

Injustice 2 was a fantastic game with a huge roster of DC characters (some well known others less so) was rightly awarded Best Fighting Game of 2017 but was also considered on the Best Games of 2017.This Legendary Edition (or GOTY edition) in which all the DLC Characters (from Seasons 1-3) which is included on one disc & doesn't have locked content like other 'so called' GOTY games (are you listening Capcom).

The extra 10 characters included in the game are;

TMNT (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles)
Enchantress
Atom
Hellboy
Starfire
Black Manta
Red Hood
Darkseid

As well the 10 characters above certain characters have alternate skins creating different characters ie Raiden - Black Lightning,Captain Cold - Mr Freeze, Flash - Reverse Flash & Jay Garrick,Green Lantern - John Stewart version,Cheetah - Vixen, Supergirl - Powergirl,Superman - Bizarro.In all the full roster adds up to over 40 characters.

One of the best things about the game though is it isn't just obsessed with players playing online multiplayer as there is plenty to do in Single Player as well with campaign mode, arcade mode & Daily Challenges (where you can win different costumes & power-ups for various characters).This is a fighting game at heart with RPG elements thrown in (upgrading & customizing your characters).

The best fighting game just got bigger & better.9.5/10.
