Picked up The Awful Truth(1937)from Morrison's for £12.

A really funny comedy with some great slapstick thrown in about a high society couple that are getting a divorce.With wonderful work from Cary Grant and Irene Dunne.The black and white picture has also scrubbed up nice for blu ray.

Bought Suicide Squad : Hell To Play(2018)from Home Bargains for £10.

A violent animated adventure from DC that sees Amanda Walker send in Task Force X led by Deadshot to find a supernatural artifact.With great voice work from Christan Slater and Vanessa Williams.

Hostiles(2017)

£15 from Sainsbury's.

Set in the year 1892,Christian Bale(who I'm not keen on)stars as an army captain due for retirement after completing one last mission escorting a dying Cheyenne war chief (Wes Studi)and his family back to their homelands.Well.acted and majestically shot.
The picture is superb in full 1080p at 24 fps with ba crisp and deep 5.1 DTS-HD audio option.

Another one from Sainsbury's for £15,The Post(2017)

Based on the real life partnership between the Washington Post's Katherine Graham and editor Ben Bradlee as they expose a massive conspiracy to cover up government secrets that threatens both their livelihood and freedom.Tom Hanks and Meryl Steep are both superb in the lead roles.

Dropped on the classic,Marty(1955)£12 from Tesco.

The really well executed love story of a Bronx butcher who meets a shy schoolteacher still holds up today thanks to its normality and the underplayed performances from Ernest Borgnine and Betsy Blair.

Dark Blue(2002)£12 from Tesco.

A formulaic story set in 1992 with Rodney King riits about to start following a corrupt cop trying to redeem himself by taking down his even more corrupt superiors.Great acting all round make it a totally absorbing watch.

Captain America Civil War

Just picked this up as I wasn’t gonna pay for price for the UK version especially as things have been left off for example no digital copy and also I liked the film but didn’t love it. As I found it cheap and wanna complete my Marvel and super hero collection of films I picked it up.
1080p Transfer and film looks fantastic along with the DTS-HD sound mix the film looks and sounds amazing.

Mission Impossible Rogue Nation

I upgrade from the normal blu ray to steel book version of the movie as it was at a very cheap price. The art work on the front and back and inside of the steel book are beautiful as you can see from the pics below. The title is embossed so it gives it that striking look and comes with a light gloss finish. Done a review of this before so picture and sound very impressive.

So it’s over 45 mins of extras, and no digital copy of the film, there’s a another version which has a bonus disc of the extras the normal version of the blu ray in the UK and European version of the steel book it’s the extra disc in the UK steel book you don’t. For £6 I paid bloody good bargain just need Ghost Protocol as a Steel book to complete my collection, nearly had it twice but was stolen in the post.
