Grid Girls banned. Discussion.

Is there a difference between "Grid Girls" & "Sponsor" girls?

None as far as I’m concerned. The grid girls were there to promote the sponsors of F1 and the sponsors of the F1 teams. They are still doing this at the Monaco Grand Prix.

I think it’s good the Grid Girls/Sponsor Girls are back, even if it’s just for this event & possibly Russia GP. The models who were grid girls/sponsor girls were not doing anything wrong, they are doing it of their own free will and were not forced, degraded or exploited.

Lewis Hamilton & Sebastian Vettel both supported the grid girls at the press conference
