The Republicans control both houses and are too afraid to cross the base as those in safe seats fear primary challengers more than Democratic ones. Kind of mirrors what is happeing with Brexit, the MPs do not want to do their job and stop what is an ensuing catastrophe because they care more about keeping their seat than doing what is right

There is talk of a definite blue wave coming in the midterms, just like Clinton was definitely going to win the election 2016

Kim's been trying for weeks to get Trump to call it off. Eventually he had to resort to calling Pence a cunt (I'm paraphrasing, obviously) and it finally did the trick.

Pity it got called off when NK were correct - Pence is a cunt! Seems it's ok for Pence, Pompeo and Bolton to compare NK nuclear disarmament to Libya with the implication that has about how Gaddafi died.

Trump has also been implying China was to blame as he says the the North Koreans attitude changed after Kim met Xi recently.

The implication being that Trump's understanding is much more efficient with the personal... that would seem to hold true for everything we've seen.
