where are all the CE lovers that tv/radio producers think there are millions of???

A friend of mine works for Virgin Radio. He says they have deep pockets and months ago they offered Evans more money to join them, but he hung on at the BBC hoping they would match what was on offer at Virgin. Despite lengthy negotiations the Virgin deal was still better than the BBC could offer.

Seeing he will be top name of there new DAB channel it was prob an offer he couldnt refuse and the BBC would never in a million years match because of all the shite about wages already

Its the BBC's loss, he took over Tel's show and added listeners that is all that counts no one else would have done that. If BBC are saving some cash all good and well and benefits us. It will probably be a female replacement as the BBC are shit scared of giving it to a bloke....

Anyone so long as the replacement isn't Sara Cox..

Sadly all the female faves at the Beeb are a few tracks short of a long player: Zoe Ball, Lauren Laverne, Fearne Cotton, Sara Cox...

Couldn't agree more. She was gratingly shite back in the day and has gotten worse as she's aged. Every time I hear any snippet of her output its all fucking baking this or fucking Lola that.
