Not surprised. Some utter cunts on here.
Speaking of which....
Just been chatting to a guy on here via DM who seems to have been had by the same catfishing scam I was.
Basically guys listen up - if anyone on here, no matter how legit they seem, offers to fix you up with Ashley Emma, DON'T fall for it. The utter lowlife has conned about a grand out of people on here just that I'm aware of.
Starts with a DM, then an email, then a skype chat. If you;ve had this, pass his account details on to the police and get him sent down, where hopefully he'll be bummed on a daily basis by a 20st hairy arsed sex pest called Joanne.

I hear ya
There's a website you can log a report of online fraud, I'd do it through there.
Someone's basically lurking on this thread and conning people out of hundreds of pounds a time.
I had one guy DM me and say he'd met the girl in question (removing her name in case it prompts the mods to delete this post), and another DM me saying he could fix me up with the same girl. In hindsight maybe it was the same guy using two different accounts, the first giving more legitimacy to the second... pretty clever. If it wasn;t for the first guy I;d probably never have believed the second one.
Anyway, if anyone tries anything like that with you, proceed with extreme caution. In my experience half the UTR girls I've met dont ask for a deposit, and of those that do none have ever asked me for more than £150. This scammer was asking for double/treble that amount which obviously sets alarm bells ringing.
With the benefit now of a lot more experience (I;d only ever had two meets when I was scammed... I've now had about 15) I'd definitely not pay such a high deposit unless I'd actually spoken to the girl in person via webcam, and even then I'd be cautious about it.
