The same question was probably raised when the channels first started, and girls were clamouring to appear in a lads mag for free instead.
Most teenagers who will become the next generation of punters, discover all their favourite models on social media now.
Demi Rose Mawby got the front cover of the first issue of Sixty6 despite never appearing on TV.
She's got 7.7 million followers on Instagram, Dannii Harwood has 199K and Lucy-Anne has 15k.
I don't think there is any presenter on TV currently that has anywhere near a million followers on social media.
Alice, Ashley, Clare and Cara Brett are possibly the most popular babes on TV right now.
And they've got 322k, 234k, 117K and 125k followers on Instagram each.
Linsey Dawn McKenzie has had a multiple decade career in glamour, porn and on TV and she's only got 138k followers.
The most interesting statistic would be the current TV viewing figures for the channels, which probably never goes above 250k on a good night.
If a girl is smart enough and works really hard, they don't need to be on a channel anymore.
Going viral on the internet will garner them way more exposure and other potential revenue streams than just being on a channel will in this era.
These channels get 250k viewers ? Is that per channel or overall ? Because that seem a lot

RE: Studio66 & OnlyFans
I'll make one more post here and only contribute in future should I see something that is, for me, factually incorrect.
For any online platform, and one that is growing, there will individuals out there whose sole aim will be to hack in to the infrastructure and gain access to the personal details of the users. Only recently have we read of such issues. A, relatively, small platform such as OF would go to the wall if they were compromised in such a way. I do not know how they organise this since I have no desire to spend $20 a month to subscribe to any of them. So maybe they have already worked this one out to use a third-party service to handle the subs.
I am actually a VIP member at s66. I think they have lately upped their game and from this month do feature vids of their newer rota such as Heather, Reed, Kylie to name but three. It is an expensive sub and I took humbrage with the channel that the newer members had 'free' credits whereas my older sub did not. I did later change to the newer system. I look on the content as the free, since time-wise it is reduced, and would have to pay for the credits regardless.

RE: Studio66 & OnlyFans
A key stat would be the follower:paying subscriber ratio
IG don't pay you for having followers do they?
So the conversion rate of followers on generic Social Media to paying subs on OF et al is the key here. I am not sure that the relationship would be entirely linear in the way it correlates.
For example, in one extreme you could get 1M Twitter followers by having loads of explicit free content that meant no incentive for anyone to subscribe. Or, the opposite end of the spectrum, if we believe the figures we read on here, in LABs case a mere 15k IG followers translates into a very lucrative OF operation...
