I am not sure that the restrictive practice option we now hear about seems very sensible.

Change happens and new technologies and businesses start up and disrupt the established order. Think House of Fraser/Debenhams/John Lewis - all going under or gone under due to behaving like ostriches in the face of the internet.

66 need to embrace change and learn to co-exist and mutually benefit from it. At least the the 30% thing, while a clumsy, blunt-instrument, was an attempt to do that. The latest apparent "our way or the highway" gambit, if indeed it is true, is, if anything, a capitulation.

TD is right, someone that pays for an OF account should be asking for a public statement from OF on this. Part of the appeal of OF is that the money goes mostly to the babes. And yet here we are hearing that hey had agreed to a third party cut without consulting anyone else including the babes?!

Why would OF agree to pay any money to S66, unless S66 could demonstrate that they own the girls' image rights.

There's always the possibility that Onlyfans have actually told S66 to take a running jump and this has prompted the "them or us" ultimatum.

No doubt the truth will be revealed at some point.

It's possible they may have agreed something, in principle, for the mechanism of deducting the money. But surely OF couldn't start actually deducting money without the consent of the individual babes.

I highly doubt it. Who would sign up for something with a small print item like 'By the way, if someone you work for, maybe Tesco or Studio66TV or whoever asks us for a cut of your earnings on onlyfans, we'll give it to them, no questions asked. OK?'
