But Avenged Sevenfold are the favourite, its cool too see there is so many other metal/rock fans on here better than the other forum i use lol

agreed on a7x! i love their cover of walk from pantera, its really good.

The A7X cover of Pantera was good but I personally feel it doesn't hold a candle to the cover they done of 'Flash of the Blade' by Iron Maiden, it was on the Maiden Heaven CD that Kerrang! magazine done as a tribute to Iron Maiden. It was the only song on that album that was on par with the Maiden original, the over covers were mostly not good at all, some were okay but the A7X one was the only one that was as good, and possibly even better than its source material. Also A7X are the best band live possibly ever, they are the best I have seen and spank pretty much every other band I have seen live, with only Billy Talent and Bloodsimple being close.

yea walk is brilliant, few bands get away with covering pantera!!!!!Flash of the Blade is also good mas, i agree, but my favourite off the Maiden Tribute Album was 2 Minutes to Midnight by Glamour of the Kill.that was awesome.

I Saw A7x at Leeds Festival this year, and although they were ill and only did 4 songs its the best ive ever seen, and i saw RATM and Metallica that weekend aswell, and i went Download this year, but A7x tops all for me, there almost perfect, Great name, Great Individual names, they are market-able,its just the coolest band and also ther great musicians lol
