Yep when other banks would not lend to him. DB had close contacts with Russians seeking to move money out of Russia and Trump seemingly sold a lot of properties to Russians for cash. In all these things you follow the money.

OK but then where has that moved to once in Russia? can't see Putin co-operating in any way

Speculation that in the written answers that Trump gave to Mueller were statements about the Trump Tower Moscow plans. Trump has publically denied those plans and now Cohen has admitted he lied to Congress when he denied them in his testimony to them. So that might mean Mueller has caught Trump lying to the FBI. Oh and there is speculation that a $50m penthouse in the Trump Tower Moscow was going to be given to someone with the initials VP.

wonder why the FBI didn't investigate him at the time of the election? I have suspicions that he was being dodgy during the election rallies, but this would make Nixon look like he was a saint even at the height of Watergate.
