Here is a very interesting video article from Vox that looks into the Presidency of Bush 41 and despite how it tends to be overlooked, given that it was one term and in between two of the more iconic Presidencies in recent history it has had massive repercussions for the state of politics, particularly within the Republican Party, going forward to the present day and foreseeable future. What is quite amazing is that looking back at his domestic achievements he is unrecognisable as a Republican compared to today.

Thought not - okay some some crackpot Senators including "Lying Ted Cruz" have produced a bill to provide $25bn for the wall by stripping benefits from undocumented immigrants (presumably so that if they don't get deported they starve to death). Not sure if that would include the undocumented migrants working at Trump Resorts, one of whom got an award for her service recently! Of course Trump loves low paid immigrants that he employs working for him keeping ho golden toilet clean.

Anyway this Border Wall Bill won't go anywhere because even if it passed the Senate their is no chance of it passing in the House of Representatives. Therefore it can't become law.

Trump's on a tweet rampage this morning against Mueller. We already know that more details of how Manafort broke his plea agreement will be revealed today as well as Mueller's team suggestions on what sentence Cohen should get. Trump though is focusing on rubbishing the Mueller team and Rosenstein, Clinton, Comey etc which is his usual deflection tactic. I wonder if he's expecting the Mueller Report to be published soon?

This looks like the start of the 2020 Presidential campaign.
Republicans don't want to pay for Trump's wall, that's why nothing's been done about it so far. Now they can be seen to be pushing for it, safe in the knowledge it will never get through a Democrat controlled Congress.
Come the election, they can blame the Democrats that it's not been built despite it being one of Trump's key promises.
