So not in over new year eaither !!!! What a joke channel this is , still waiting for the first weather cancellation , first real whiff of snow and they'll decide to scrub the show lol

People feeling merry & drunk or conversely feeling more lonely or depressed this time of year & need cheering. Would've thought these festive hotspots would be the ideal time for a fledgling channel to grab some business rather than shut down.

Likes of Jess West shows there's babes they could've got in willing to work, but get the feeling this is just a part-time setup rather a full blown channel attempt.

TBH I’ve always felt these shows take a certain downturn around Xmas and New year, almost as if some if not most of the babes would rather be somewhere else. After all they all have families and friends not to mention most have partners with some also having children. Travelling can be a pain with limited hours of public transport if any are non drivers. Even the big channels tend to have a skeleton crew so a new channel would be hit more. After all the big channels have a big roster, VNTV have hardly any in comparison. Surely it’s better to call it off rather than book and have a let down.

I have no quibble at all with them not broadcasting over the Xmas & New Year period BUT the PR guff we were fed by Winsaw was unnecessary and to my mind difficult to believe. Couple that with Winsaw taking a pop at Preeti returning to BS when she is a far better performer than any girl at VNTV (and I’m not a fan of hers!) and I will enter 2019 remaining sceptical of anything Winsaw says about them unless and until I see some balance in his comments.

Maybe it was but it’s still sensible of VNTV to call it of rather than book and have no shows for 4 of the days. Saves face. Let downs would pee off customers more than a pre arranged hiatus, even if they may have been forced into it.

This stance against Winsaw is getting a little convoluted (spreading as it has into other threads). I'd like to review what is being held against him on here, whilst offering some general support to the guy.

I'm sorry to see Winsaw getting this flak. It's plain to me that he's sincere in all that he's written here - as it ought to be to everyone that knows him through his posts of old.

In this instance, I feel he is being shot as the messenger. Even if I can understand why this is happening - I can't agree with it. I think the posters having a go are a little too quick to rush to judgement (some look to be spurred by petty personal history, some with accusations of bias where they are hardly proven objective themselves). I would just ask these guys to take a little step back and consider Winsaw's motives (they are surely honorable) NOT those of VNTV (Winsaw must in turn forgive those who are sceptical of whatever the operator's may be) and to take a more forgiving reflective view of the matter in that light.

As I say, I get why guys are frustrated at Win; they feel he has been duped and that he's, at best, unwittingly trying to continue that pulling of the wool by passing on the VNTV party line. They feel the nameless boss and presumably the babes around him are feeding their bull to Winsaw with the intent of letting him do their dirty promo work for them. As these posters see it, Winsaw's positivity for the babes and the industry are just blinding him to the fact that they are using him to relay the operator's OWN spin. IMO, this is a valid position to take given the reminders of history.

Winsaw's recent posts potently illustrate his vexation at the response his earlier words are getting. I feel for him. I know he just wants to do a service by passing on info but his mere buying into VNTV's words leaves him the victim of those more intent on seeing bad in a much more often cynical and manipulative industry than he is painting for VNTV. 

Winsaw opponents feel VNTV are just paying lip service to the ideals he promotes, while their actions speak to other priorities. Atm, guys see only cynicism in VNTV's words. In the Christmas shutdown they see VN as still showing they are more concerned for their time off, and themselves only, than in the growing/correction of a troubled business by even attempting to satisfy customer demand at a holiday time. (Xmas is a time when, after all, guys are home with new laptops and tablets bought them as presents and that they want to try getting their first filth on! And yet the message from VNTV as given holds no concern at missing out on these possibilities and only speaks of their babes.)

The posters lined against Winsaw fear VNTV are going to prove just like the rest of the operators in the end. And tbf we've all seen what the rest of the industry is like; it's hardly unjust for punters to think this outfit (who did work under Macrow after all) are tared with the same brush. It's up to VNTV to PROVE by their actions (talk is cheap) that they are more out for the customer, and his servicing, than previous operators have been. Then guys might start to believe as Winsaw does - but not before.

Until then I'm afraid too many guys will just see Win as seeing too much good in these industry folk. And his positive posts will always have him accused of being their apologist.

Finally, I would like to conclude by asking Winsaw if he's sure he doesn't wish to see the good of his old fav RLC revived, in the embers of the guys that used to work there, just a little too much? Is he trusting out of a sense of nostalgia, and seeing the current lot's words too forgivingly as a result?

Questioning winsaw's views & actions in this thread may well be fair comment.

Slagging him off for his views & actions in this thread - in other threads, in other sections - is just abuse.

to save any further flack on winsaw why doesn't VNTV come on and do their own promo work and Q&A at least we and they would get the info first hand rather than 2nd/3rd hand, after all they seem to be able to bombard twitter with the same thing post after post after post, i'm was a big fan of kellie when she was on TV but the whole hype about vntv being something new and exiting just hasn't come off so no wonder they are getting some flack

Not watched for a over a week now as what I saw before xmas was toilet.

Just turned on and the quality of picture is shocking.

All in all not that great, just a shame tha the only day worth watching with Ashley on is ruined by yet further vntv amateur website glitches

All the talk of something different was correct , they've provided a site that doesn't work , broadcasting a show that is very poor in comparison to the other babe shows and you have to pay just to view it for more than 5 mins ........ something different alright
