RE: Liverpool FC
The referee who sent James Milner off in yesterdays game against Palace Jon Moss made history as he was Milner's old PE Teacher at Westbrook Primary School Horsforth, Yorkshire where Milner played in Moss's school football team.In a match of coincidental's where Milner's sending off for a foul on Palace's Wilfred Zaha was Milner's second sending offf as a Liverpool player where the first was against Crystal Palace & the fouled player involved was indeed Wilfred Zaha.

It's been a scratchy few games since the Man City defeat with the 1-0 win against Brighton last week & the 4-3 against Palace yesterday but gritting these wins out whilst not playing the best is what can separate Champion's from the also-rans.

A lot of people feel that Klopp should have been sent off for running onto the pitch like Nuno Espirito-Santo was at the weekend. Some callers to 5Live's 606 reckon that Salah dived but then he wasn't punished like Harry Kane was - I think they need to sort both of these things out-do you punish passion as Klopp shows week in, week out OR do you go after the divers of this game like Zaha, Salah and Neymar, the worst of the lot. Don't forget the number of times Diego Costa tried it on as well. Maybe a dive needs to be clarified, does falling over constitute one or a proper front end type?

Spot on.

Doesn’t make any difference whether you win a scratchy 1-0 or dish out a 5-0 hammering...still 3 points at the end of the day.

Trying to remember the last time Liverpool had 60 points at this stage of the season...if ever..

Liverpool have more points today (60) than the Champions League winning side of 2005 managed in their entire Premier League season (58).

^Well i hope for your sake Man City don't win the league on goal difference, two draws for Liverpool and two wins for Man City will take City top

Don't you remember what happened against Palace a few years ago when you threw away a 3-0 lead, because you went all out to try and score about 9 goals to try and overtake City's goal difference

This is just a warning from a neutral prem fan, my team are 2nd in league 1 with the best GD in the league, if we go up on GD i'll be ecstaticSmile

We do but its too painful and we try not to remember that awful day and that awful club still proving a bogey team. Bit of respite now and a chance to get players 100% fit and ready for the next game.

Rafa Benitez the boy done good

If i could find a girl that had the looks of Gal Gadot, breasts of Sophie Mudd with Demi Rose's ass, the personality of Jessica Ennis, the grace of Kendall Jenner on the red carpet and then behind closed doors the raw sexual energy of Nicole Snow i'd know i was dead and gone to heaven, so i'll just take Demi Rose's ass and Nicole's sexual energy

Smeg! Again bloody Leicester thwart Liverpool but on the face of it, I'd have taken a 5 pt lead if you'd offered it to us a few months ago. Onward and upward we hope.

RE: Liverpool FC
Rafa made the killer pass (by beating Man City) but Liverpool missed the target (by drawing against Leicester) & whilst mathmatically it was 1 point gained it felt more like 2 points lost. The snow/frost covered pitch was awful (doesn't the underground heating work properly?) & made the ball move a lot slower but both teams had to play on it not just Liverpool. The passing & movement was too static & most passes were either under or over hit & gifting the opposition with cheap errors at the back when the opposition press forward does make watching Liverpool at times a lot nervy than it needs to be.

Food for thought what defensive partnership Harry Maguire (who played well) would make alongside Van Dijk for next season.Leicester's Ben Chillwell played well & showed signs why Liverpool were after him a few seasons ago.

RE: Liverpool FC
Maguire was lucky to be still on the pitch-he should have been sent off AND Liverpool were denied a certain penalty-without VAR, we had to rely on the referee and assistant. I for one will be welcoming VAR next season because it is that purpose which is supposed to settle disputes like this. Still as I said 5 points is still good and who knows maybe City might slip up again?
