Memories of Childhood...Images only please

I got a portable record player two Christmasses ago as my original stereo's needle disintegrated! Records bounce about a bit!
Remember these.

Recording what you wanted, when you wanted to watch it on a large tape that you could stretch past its originally intended length.

You must remember these shops-we had one across the road from us. You went in, choose from hundreds of video films and television series-I think you could have up to 3 each time, then you showed your ID card and then you could keep them for a week. When you finished you just posted them through the front door box.

Well put it this way I was too young to remember the Moon Landing, but old enough to remember the first Space Shuttle taking off. Yep...there was even a sketch in the Paul Hogan show that was a weird cross between the Benny Hill Show and Hawaii Five O...really weird viewing!

Aye....what always made me laugh was that whatever Leo Wanker did to himself, whether blowing himself up or whatever, his backup crew would always rush over and aim fire extinguishers at his bollocks
