That article is wildly inaccurate.

There are going to be several other ways of age verification besides those listed.
Twitter and Reddit are effectively exempt and are not in an ambiguous position.
There won't be a database of credit card details linked to pornographic preferences.

There's very little in that article which is actually correct.

So, in our "oh, so accepting society" that "celebrates open sexuality", we're going to place more restrictions on porn? I honestly don't understand what's happening anymore. I've just started (attempting to) contribute to Babeshows and I'm already considering joining NoFap.

The fact that filters already exist and software is easily available to make computers kid friendly escapes certain fuckwits in power.

Saw a similar report last night, but I didn't think the April 1st launch was ever set in stone, I thought the best we had was that the actual launch might be announced sometime in april. Then again, I've lost track with it being put back so much, and lets face it, this government kinda has other priorities right now, and if May goes in the near future which is looking increasingly likely, this thing could yet die a death and not happen at all
