Just seen that Ranking Rodger from The Beat died yesterday aged 56

As a fan of the ska/2Tone movement in the late 70s, gutted to hear about this. I knew he wasn’t well but I didn’t know it was as bad as it turned out to be Sad

ON one of my tapes of mixed tunes I borrowed a copy of Ranking Roger singing Full Stop, which is very good although I will be the first to admit that at times I had no idea what he was saying in that Jamaican patois style. Only 56, not old at all.
