I just don't the arseholes in the HOC atm. They are, to put it simply incapable of reaching a consensus in a way out of a impasse.

Therefore, I would suggest that they simply resign and we have a General Election and start all over again. I would stress that ALL candidates should NOT include ANY OF THE CURRENT Incumbents of the House but ordinary folks off the street who seem to have a better grasp of the whole damn thing than what the MPs do

How he thinks it helps his case to tweet a speech in the German Bundestag of the leader of the AfD party god only knows. It's often said that you are defined by the company you keep so as the the AfD are anti immigration, anti muslim and racist then Rees-Mogg seems to be nailing his colours to that mast.

It wasn't a waste of time. Quite the opposite. The indicative votes showed that there are 3 Brexit options which the government could get passed immediately if they wanted to, because with government support those 3 options would all have a majority in the House of Commons.

I think part of the failure of the indicative votes so far is that they have been based on a simple up/down vote, a preference based voting system could be used to build a consensus and move forward.

Statement by the PM: She wants to sit down with the opposition leader Jeremy Corbyn and try to find some solution-he will probably want a softer Brexit but I can't see them agreeing anytime soon. That said there will then be more 'indictative' votes which will be agreed by the Government(so IF and it's a big IF) there is a majority vote at last(don't hold your breath on that one) THEN they will go with that. It also looks like we will have to ask for an interderminate extension to Article 50...basically we continue this rigmarole maybe until June-OR everything is sorted out before 23rd May and the European Elections. There is a summit of the EU next week. It will be interesting to know what Messrs Barnier, Tusk and Juncker are thinking right now.
