Bloody Jeff Reed, didn't get to see the match but missing two field goals in the fourth quarter just plain sucks

Ok time for my game review, same as last time

Positives

A win is a win

Malcolm Kelly looked decent as the #2 WR

Defense did its job again

Negatives

Offense looked incompetent inside the 10 yard line

Questions remain about Jim Zorn especially his decision making.

No TDs against a team that has really struggled in recent times

Randy Thomas picked up an injury which could end his season

Overall thoughts

Another poor performance from the Redskins. Yet again we struggled offensively 1 TD in rubbish time against the Giants is pathetic. Glad we got the win but we will need to produce a lot more offensively if we are to compete in the NFC East

So Poolieguy01 whats our main problem offensively? Moss and Randle-El are not bad receivers and Cooley catches more than his share. Campbell does have a strong arm if only he had the accuracy. And where oh where is the running game! That offensive line already struggling just got a whole lot weaker so it could be even more of a struggle scoring from here on in unless Campbell starts hitting receivers on a regular basis.Add to that the inexperince of Jim Zorn and it could be a disastrous season for Skins fans.

I think we have two main problems on offense:

The playcalling - Our playcalling has been rather predictable run on 1st down, run on 2nd down, short pass on 3rd down then punt. Then there is the fact that Zorn doesnt appear to trust Jason Campbell. We need to try and stretch the opposing defenses occassionally especially when we have a great deep threat in Santana Moss.

Jason Campbell - Jason is average at best and i cannot see him getting better. He takes far too long to make his reads and basically if Moss and Cooley are covered he is stuck. He also holds onto the ball for far too long and needs to learn to get rid of the ball if there is nothing there. I also think he is very inaccurate.

As for the running game i think it will eventually get going i just think its taking a bit of time and without Thomas on the line i think it may take longer, the running game needs to be helped out by the passing game though its far too easy for opposing defenses to stack the box against us.

RE: NFL 2009/10
I am a cowboys fan and with tony romo as a quarterback it does not matter how well we do in the regular season, we could win the next 14 games and be 15-1 and lose the first play off game. He is an extremely talented quarterback but he has not got the bottle or composure to do the business in the crunch games i.e last month of the regular season and the play off games. I believe you either have the big occasion temperament a la Tom Brady or you don't.

On another note any one going to wembley for the bucs and patriots match?

RE: NFL 2009/10
dont knock romo hes a great quarterback, hell get the job done in the playoffs eventually
as for the skins its the o line, they cant establish the run,and portis is still a very good back given a chance and if given some gaps from the o line it will establish the run a give cambell more time, right now the problem is the blocking is pathethic and cambell hasnt got the time to throw the ball
