It's quite an amazing double standard that all of these 7 combined have had the same amount of scrutiny for taking illegal substances as Dianne Abbot had for drinking a can of M&S Mojito. Regardless of your opinions on Abbot (she is by no means worse than some of this lot) or our drug policy it is a ridiculous hypocrisy.

What is an even greater hypocrisy is that when Michael Gove was education secretary he sanctioned new rules that meant that any teacher found merely in possession of Class A drugs, like Cocaine, were to be immediately sacked. This put the use of these drugs on par with possessing child pornography and terrorism (really).

Bet the Opposition front bench are no better, and have some skeletons in their closet regarding drugs. How is it, that there can be one rule for them and one rule for the rest? they may have taken them some 20 years ago, but love the police to bloody bring possession of drugs charges on them 20 years later.
