However, one central and more serious problem needs to be addressed above all in any drive towards crowd-pleasing. (There can be no giving away of the farm, if one is being sensible, but otherwise why not please and swell a crowd you're drawing your paying customers from?) It goes way beyond the tweeks, fine-tuning, and sprucing up suggested on this thread to date and I'm surprised it's hardly been touched on so far...
What is majorly wrong with ALL the babe-ing operations, and has been for years, essentially comes down to poor internal empathy for customer and the mismanagement of insider attitudes. So, what needs to change most to make the shows more sustainable, enjoyable and enticing to interaction is to redefine the pervading mindset in the industry towards the punter...
It has long been clear that too many insiders have 'issues' what they are doing for a living and despise the guys they are doing it for. They have little tolerance for the services they are providing and at best a thinly disguised contempt for the customers they see as mugs for buying the stuff they put over. That is what needs turning inside out.
Punters are not the enemy - only fit to be duped out of their money. The babeshow services shouldn't be looked on as a joke to be fudged and half-assed in order to get by on while doing as little as possible. The cheap gimmick, fast buck, approach, one that only considers the here and now, is what needs to end.
In its place, should be installed people who see value in every set of eyeballs tuned to the shows; people that are savvy, sure, but who remain respectful to the customer and their desires in spite of that. People who look to add value and a higher level of service to each transaction. People who want to engage with, and foster, every guy's devotion to the shows - as exhibited (even through the occassional bile) on every single god-damn page of this forum every day.
Change this self-defeating predominant mindset and everything would shift to a much more positive base from which to build. Until those foundations are revised... Well, you can tinker all you like, but I can envisage no great improvements in the shows before then - beyond the odd decent outlier session here and there.
Babeshow n. - Live Adult Entertainment genre based around premium-rate phome sex chat lines. Scantily-clad female presenter induces callers and users to other inactive services from three-walled set in a TV studio. Largely softcore Tease format influenced by standards and strictures of free-to-air TV platform..
