RE: What i like about this Forum.
It's evolution.
As the shows have changed many of the forum characters have changed also. But a lot of forum veterans remain which is very important.
So there has always been a healthy and important balance.
To a degree this place has helped keep me sane all these years in spite of what some might perceive as evidence to the contrary with many a loony bin post .
The humour on here is cutting but always genuine.
The forum is blessed with many impressive contributors and is a place I am proud to be part of. Long live this forum and all those that sustain it.

If you or anyone else gets any hassle or trollish-like behaviour just ignore it and THEM, they hate it. Above all else enjoy yourself and don't take it too seriously. Your real friends will back you when you need them.

RE: What i like about this Forum.
I'm just waiting for them to move to phpBB so I can offer them one of my fully responsive modern premium styles and a bundle of my custom extensions at a low price, although I have designed a few myBB styles.
Back to the topic though, it's interesting that you like the fact the forum has off topic sections etc, I've seen a lot of forums die because they have more content in the off topic sections than the actual topic of the forum and I've seen others where the members hate it having off topic sections.
Personally I like forums to have off topic sections, it also has advantages, popular off topic subjects can also attract more visitors to the forum when they pop up in search engines etc, so a bit of off topic content doesn't do any harm at all but if an administrator had limited resources he would probably stick to just babe topics to keep the hosting costs down, getting a good host with maximum reliability and uptime is not easy these days.
