that's a tough one for Jo. At least Jo has emulated Jo Durie's feat by reaching the Q/F. Durie reached the Q/F in 1985

When Jo is the underdog she seems to rise to the occasion so she has good chance against Svitolina. It is when she is the favourite in latter stages of Grand Slams that she struggles

Svitolina won easy, and plays Serena, who won even easier.

It was never going to be easy. It's just disappointing that in the women's game that more of our female players don't draw enough inspiration from Jo's performances and back her up in competitions.
