Repeat from 1991. Some of his items looked worth copying (eg climbing the Sydney Harbour Bridge), others less so.

Eat Well for Less BBC1 (erratic programme schedule with this series) last in the series(back this year) with a family whose wife hardly ate any fruit or vegetables and yet turned her nose up at just about anything her husband offered her. Somehow, by some miracle, this woman was persuaded to try loads of different fruit and veg and actually like some of them. She also had never cooked before(her husband did the cooking) and enjoyed that as well. Admitedly, this family had been through a lot in two years with one of their children in hospital and surviving on chicken nuggets and takeaways practicaly every night. Gregg Wallace and Chris Bavin, the presenters, managed to get them to swap 80% of their usual shopping for cheaper alternatives saving them £80 and overall just over £4,000 in a year, which the family will use to take their kids away on holiday.

Selling Scotland
A glorious tribute to the use of Scottish imagery in advertising, from whisky and beer to porridge and Irn Bru. Presented by Jack Docherty, but with many, many, many famous Scots watching the ads and commenting, as is the form; some cringe-worthy, some classic.

Also just finished series 1 of The Strain.

Decent show so far if you like horror/vampire, viral outbreak, bodysnatcher type things. Started in 2014 and there are 4 seasons.

The 3rd of the repeats. Unlike the Sydney one, the people he chatted to here tended to be very recognisable (Victoria Wood, Alan Coren, Peter Cook etc).
