You can turn the option on your user control panel, under the heading Your Profile and in the sub-folder to "Edit options". Unfortunately, there seems to be a bug that prevents it working properly. I find that if you make sure to navigate here from another page, rather than in a new tab, then click the back button, then click forward again, that does the trick. I'm not sure if the bug has been reported or not. Sorry I can't be more help.

I have never tried the control panel option explained by Mr G.

You can get your browser (internet explorer, firefox etc) to save it automatically. When you enter your login details and hit the enter button, on IE you get a pop up box asking you if you want the password to be saved and on firefox, you get a small drop down tab under the toolbar at the top of the screen, that disappears quickly.

I still have to use this backwards/forwards trick to login.
I can also login if I try to reply to a post when I'm logged out. My password comes up ok then.

It does? I've never tried that before. I'll remember that next time. The backwards and forwards thing can be annoying, especially if I end up clicking the wrong button, or something. (I have mouse control issues. Never play on my team in an online shooter. That way lies tragedy.)

With internet explorer click on the tools drop down list then click internet options & choose the content tab after that you'll see AutoComplete icon click it then tick the last 2 & click ok & then click on the internet option window.

With Firefox 3.0 & above it saves it for you all you need to do is click the remember icon after you type your username & password.

I hope that helps.

Why members post content that's not shown to the public is beyond me.
Because of certain posts they’ve now blacked out the cams or moved them out of the way so we can’t see anything. Thanks guys you really know how to screw things up for the rest of us...
Over my 6 years of being a forum member I've never seen anything so stupid...
