Agree winsaw it’s disappointing that ofcom have reinstated the pussy hair ban. 'We' (the public - on average) really don't. It's just Ofcom (and the government/authorities in general) are trying to persuade us there's a problem and we ought to think their way to suit their own reactionary and backward looking power play.

These sniffy quango seat warmers are a throwback to the bygone age of Mary Whitehouse. Their language may be different - justifications reimagined for the identity politics age - but they should be laughed at in the same way Whitehouse was at the end. What's the real difference? It's the same judgemental 'we know what's best for you' moralising. They shouldn't be given houseroom; they and their warped views of what is dangerous in this world deserve none. But the general public are unaware and/or blase about their creeping censorship regime and stealth propaganda; so they will continue to act, and continue to be emboldened, until they come for something enough people find important.

The government bit off more than they could chew with AV but they will continue with other 'victories' in this vein before they're all found out for a proper reversal.
