Last film you watched

The violence in almost cartoonish in nature, one or two injuries and apart from someone leering at a drunk Harley there is nothing in the film.

Maybe you should have a word with the BBFC and get them to change it then lol

Was never aimed at kids, it was always going to be Rated R (15 in U.K.) for me it does deserve its 15 rating

Underwater 6/10 - a sort of alien set underwater, a bit predictable but decent enough.

Parasite - The Oscars winner, Korean with subtitles. An entertaining watch, starts off with a light-hearted comedic story about a poor family wangling themselves some cushy jobs with a pushover rich family, then an unexpected twist turns things darker and the characters who thought they'd won are forced into a struggle to get out of a desperate mess. 9/10.

Uncut Gems - Adam Sandler plays the part of a brash Jewish jeweller who shouts his way non-stop through 2 hours of a life so chaotic, it leaves you exhausted by the end of the film. He has got his hands on the gem of a lifetime and while he tries to cash in, he needs to stay afloat by taking his clients' property to the pawn shop, which is bad enough except he then uses the money to place huge bets on basketball games, all the while trying to avoid a gang of heavies out to get back a debt he owes. Nothing in his life seems to go right but he never stops believing he is about to hit his big pay day. A really good performance of a terribly annoying character, I really liked this. 9.5/10

Wild (2014)

Based on a true story, a recently divorced woman takes stock of her life by embarking on a challenging hike along the Pacific Crest Trail. Stand out performance by Reese Witherspoon as the woman who finds redemption for her past misdemeanours along an awe-inspiring journey. With breathtaking photography and a nice soundtrack, Wild is a powerfully moving film that demonstrates how anybody can find peace following the most traumatic of life experiences. 4 / 5
