So even know VAR is in the Premier League effectively it isn't for the fans as United and Liverpool don't have the screen up.

And i agree with all the money Liverpool and United have they should have a screen up think from next season they will both have screens up so it will be 20 Teams instead of 18 Teams with screens up.

VAR took years and years to come about really they should of thought about putting all the screens up before introducing it probably.

Watching Brazilian football, they took 6 minutes to decide whether Flamengo goal was offside or not against Corinthians and still got the wrong decision

VAR should only be used for incidents inside the box... Not for marginal offsides near the centre spot.... I can see a game in the near future running well over 15 minutes of injury time.

Imagine thr uproar if the World Cup Final was won/lost on a VAR decision or Olympic gold Medal match the official would have to live with that wrong decision for four years!!

Not only that imagine if a manager pulled his team out of a game if he didn't like VAR decision against his team!! (if that has happened already!!)

Why do you say it was the wrong decision? This is the freeze frame they used and it looks OK to me. You think the goal shouldn't have been given?

RE: Has VAR ruined football?
"You wonder idly what may happen if a fraction of the seething anger at VAR were redirected towards some of the game’s other – one may even argue more pressing – problems: increasing wealth disparities, parasitic owners, the grassroots funding crisis, toxic masculinity, homophobia, the influence of the gambling industry. Imagine if pundits and fans spoke out with the same vehement, self-righteous regularity against structural racism that they do against dotted lines being drawn from footballers’ armpits. Some actual, real-world shit may get done."

"But then this is English football, a sport and a culture founded on sneering grievance, where the most important problem is always the most recent slight against your team. And this is the complex matrix of 21st-century capitalism and digital platforms that offers fans myriad outlets to air their grievances, but zero ways of meaningfully ameliorating them: a voicelessness of infinite voices, a multitude making themselves heard without actually making anybody listen."

If i could find a girl that had the looks of Gal Gadot, breasts of Sophie Mudd with Demi Rose's ass, the personality of Jessica Ennis, the grace of Kendall Jenner on the red carpet and then behind closed doors the raw sexual energy of Nicole Snow i'd know i was dead and gone to heaven, so i'll just take Demi Rose's ass and Nicole's sexual energy

There was a hell of a lot of sense and thoughtful points written in it that I would think that the PL, the FA, UEFA & FIFA should take a look at. Our voice (i.e. the fans' voice) is never really listened to by any of the above, until all clubs in every division of the game here appoint a fans' rep on their board room, or even on the top table will we ever have a true say in football's general direction in this country. We can moan and bitch & have our say on social media, 606 till the cows come home but will those gripes ever reach the ears of those who hold games very purse strings? probably not.

Rant over
