Just announced that comedian Tim Brooke Taylor of The Goodies has died of the virus at the age of 79. https://mobile.twitter.com/PA/status/124...3486767108

What a shame. I never really liked Monty Python but I did like The Goodies and now they're a man down.

Very sad news, he was great in The Goodies, and provided lots of fun on radio in I’m Sorry I Haven’t a Clue for many years.

Loved him first in a richard o'sullivan show on itv called me and my girl then got into the Goodies very funny man
True Supporter of Girls and Not Channels !!!!!

RIP to comic genius - A victim of the virus. his timing was superb and really loved the Goodies - especially their singles!! Funky Gibbon was my fave.
first Sir Stirling Moss and now Tim.

Condolences to all his family and friends and Thank you Tim for all the laughs you gave us when growing up, you will very sadly missed
