Seems NXT has beaten AEW in the ratings the last two weeks

i am not surprised its been a not great 2 weeks for them, the tv champ tournament hasn't been as exciting as it should be, to many meaningless squash matches with random jobbers, i think there has only been 3 good matches in the last 2 weeks,
this week was mostly about setting things up in the future it wasnt something we needed to see,
i see the have decided to have the last 2 TVT tv champ matches next week to try and get it out the way and get on with the 3 matches that matter in this tournament to try and make the belt mean something,
having so few faces there that they use on tv is really killing it as we dont know them so dont have interest in them,
they need a good week next week with far less jobber matches

this week started with Darby Allin v Sammy Guevara, the match started in a mad way, with Sammy putting Darby through a ladder before the match even started, once it got going in the ring, Darby pulled off sammy boot and spent the whole match working on Sammy ankle, it was a good match with both hitting big moves, that Darby won with his last supper move, it was a good match both have great chemistry and think the will be some of aew biggest stars for years to come, no surprise to see Darby win as the management have been pushing him hard,

match 2 was Kenny Omega v Alan Angels a jobber, just a pointless match really, nothing much happened Kenny did let Alan have a few moves on the biggest night he has ever had, but it just went on way to long,

match 3 Orange Cassidy v Jimmy Havoc, it felt like a jobber match with Havoc beating down Orange before he turned it around at the end to get the win, Sabian and the Best Friends got involved setting up a match next week,

match 4 Wardlow v a jobber, wardlow was back and looked amazing he totally destroyed the jobber looking like a beast, Wardlow could become there Brock Lesnar if they book him right and dont rush like the did with Jake Hager,

match 5 Mr. Brodie Lee v a jobber, just a pointless squash match that did nothing for Lee, he should be doing something meaningful by now, next week hes beating Mark Stunt in another pointless match they dont seam to know what to do with him,

the main event was Dustin Rhodes v Kip Sabian, it was a good match but not great, both worked well and hit some big moves but it was a bit slow and had a funny ending with Brandi and Ford who where both at ring side getting involved and Dustin hitting a finisher out of no where, it was like more the matches for this new tv belt ok but not great,

so another week with out a lot happening to many jobber matches that dont mean anything, the main event and first match should have been the other way around, 4 jobber type matches on the card is killing the show, they need to start booking matches that mean something and have a build up, hopefully the semi final matches next week will make for a better show

Did anyone recognise the former Impact knockout on AEW last night?

AEW was really good this week there best show since the fans where stopped going,

the show started with Darby Allin v Cody, first of two semifinal matches in the TNT Championship tournament, that are great together, they always have a good match and did again this time, both men had the upper hand at points, hitting big moves, Allin accidentally took out Brandi at ring side which was a new thing and gave Cody a real reason to go after him, both me hit each other finishing moves on each other before Darby hit the Coffin Drop but Cody reversed it into a pin for the victory, both men looked like stars at the end, thats how you do a good match that makes everyone look good,

match 2 Wardlow v a jobber, a classic squash match , Wardlow destroyed the jobber and looked like a monster so job done, and move on to the next one lol

match 3 was Best Friends v Kip Sabian and Jimmy Havoc, this was a good match, it had been built up for 2 weeks and delivered, both teams looked really good, it was a hardcore weapons match both teams using them well and doing really good double-team moves as no one had to tag in or out, Ford messed up again letting Orange help his team set up the win, the best friends looked the best they had ever in AEW and can see it not being long before Havoc leaves aew dark behind and is on tv a lot more,

match 4 was Shawn Spears v Jobber, see match 2 , it did the job of starting to make spears look like hes a winner again, its good to see AEW taking the time to build Spears back up, hes a top wrestler

match 5 was Brodie Lee v Marko Stunt, this was the match i like least , for me they are not making the most of Lee and i think hes looking like a mid carder and not the top heal he should be,

the main event was Lance Archer v Dustin Rhodes, this was really good Archer had his first real test a top guy who could go toe to toe with him, Archer looked amazing at one point he walked the top rope before hitting a moonsault off it, one of the best moves i have seen a big man do, Dustin got busted open after he was hit by a chair, in the end Archer knocked him out for the win, both men looked amazing, Archer i think is going to win the belt next week as AEW have built him up so well and he could then a good set of matches with Cody,

i look forward to next week the main event will be good, one think i would like to see is a womans match next week as there hasent been one in 3 weeks, AEW on the up i think they do seam to be working out how to do the shows with no one there,

Have been lucky enough to have met Rebel when she was in Impact in 2015 in Manchester. Great to see her back on tv wrestling



She’s really nice when not in character. Before going into wrestling, Rebel was a cheerleader for the NFL team Dallas Cowboys

Think it was Brooke Adams/Ms Tessmacher of Impact yore. Rammy became quite famous for it

Yes indeed, the tattoo on my arm is indeed Ms Tessmacher/Brooke Adams from Impact/TNA. I had it done 6yrs ago now. I did indeed become a bit of a celebrity for it but thankfully not anymore as I did get a lot of unpleasant & abusive comments about it at the time, not on here, but elsewhere on social media so I made the decision to stop showing it in photos & posting on social media about it. The abuse etc did die down.

Brooke herself has seen it, not just online, but in person too when I met her in London at London Film & Comic Con in 2014 and she loves it & gave me a free photo, personalising it saying she loves the tattoo. That’s all that matters to me, that Brooke likes it & I don’t regret having it done.

Back to Rebel, didn’t really notice what she smelt like as I’m not one of these people who have a thing for what a woman smells like and hope this wasn’t a one off on screen appearance for Rebel in AEW
