Ruby Roses official statement on leaving:

“I have made the very difficult decision to not return to Batwoman next season," said the actress. "This was not a decision I made lightly as I have the utmost respect for the cast, crew and everyone involved with the show in both Vancouver and in Los Angeles. I am beyond appreciative to Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter and Caroline Dries for not only giving me this incredible opportunity, but for welcoming me into the DC universe they have so beautifully created. Thank you Peter Roth and Mark Pedowitz and the teams at Warner Bros. and The CW who put so much into the show and always believed in me. Thank you to everyone who made season one a success — I am truly grateful.”

I understand why she was given the part but she has been poor and not suited.

^^^ No one actually knows why she actually left because nothings been said at moment so it’s that’s merely just speculation. I’ve spoken to one of producers a few times but this occasion not gonna ask as what ever it is personal. Plus I think it’s unfair simply just to blame one person simply because people may not like the lead, there are factors why a show may not living up to its full potential for example writing of storylines and character development, is the director getting the best out of actors. CW have always been drama driven and at times it’s been hit and miss. As i’ve watched the whole season I will writing a season 1 review of what worked and what didn’t work with show so far. They can replace the actress but if the issues of the show aren’t addressed then it will same problems.
