Should Dominic Cummings go?

For all my criticism, I actually don't disagree with this. I think it always helps in these situations to put yourself in their shoes. The truth is that if I were in the privileged position to take my family to secluded spot, near relatives, with an extra house, with its own private woodland then, yeah, I probably would have done the same thing.

But there used to be a simple rule in politics -- you can't be caught in a lie. That was the cardinal sin. The third rail. When you're busted in a lie, you resign or you're sacked. And if you let them get away with the little lies over the small things, then they'll eventually be untouchable and out-of-control.

So I don't really give a shit that Cummings went to Durham during lockdown. But I do care about the extraordinary lengths that the Government is going to in order to save his sorry ass. It's the lies upon lies to insulate the previous lies about the lies.

This. Government. Lies.

And lies and lies and lies.

It has to stop somewhere.

Who he is, is relevant to this because he was instrumental in drawing up the rules everyone is expected to abide by.

The Chief Medical Officer up here broke the rules as well. She's not still being hammered for it because she put up her hands, apologised, and resigned.
That's the difference.

That is the differences between the Scottish Chief Medical Officer and Cummings is ; -
1) The CMO of Scotland was a woman
2) As SM say she held up her hands apologised and resigned
3) Cummings spun a hash of half truth and refuses to apologise
4) He is a cunt

And she has been rightly reprimanded, read the news don't cover it with your own opinion we make our own minds up, not everybody agrees on everything but we have the right to have fair unbiased news. Once the public know which way a news presenter leans half the population dis-regards all that they present. Nearly 30,00 have signed a SUPPORT Dominic Cummings Petition!!!

Yet the Government petition site has rejected petitions asking for Cummings to be sacked, Boris to resign, or an enquiry into Government's handling of pandemic

I fear Bozo and his cabal are going to take this country into some very dark times. Reason and rule of law have gone, replaced by deciet and misinformation.
