They say when you hit rock bottom the only way is up,well i'm looking up and i can't see jack,so i guess we havn't reached rock bottom yet eek
My friend The N.Y.Giants fan, gave up with the incessant piss-taking texts by the end of the third quarter,i think he was feeling sorry for me (either that or he ran out of credit bladewave) but he did send this in an e-mail this morning,i'm thinking of forwarding it on to Tom Cable.

On a different note how good were the Bengals last night against The Ravens, best game of the season so far. What about that hit by Ray Lewis on Chad Ochocinco,OUCH!!!
I think i put the mockers on The 49ers by selecting their defence in my fantasy team,i also swapped Carson Palmer for Joe Flacco,D'oh.

I find Tom Cable a funny Choice as Head coach of the raiders. How did he get the job? pillow pants. Has he got pictures of Al Davis doing things he really shouldn't be doing?Huh

Yes it was a big hit but what was he thinking when he made it, he must have known it would be a personal foul penalty only one word to describe it - DUMB

To borrow a catchphrase " I don't believe it!" a win there for the taking at half time and the skins don't show up for the second half!! (anyone know if they've come out the locker room ready to play the second half yet)
And if you want to talk about dumb football what about that playcalling after the Defence has done its job with 4 goalline stops we then give away a safety with a run that was never going anywhere.

1) He's cheap (the lowest paid Head-coach in the NFL).
2) He does what he's told,it's Al's way or the highway.
3) Al Davis decides who's drafted, free agents we sign, who gets traded or traded for,the schemes we play and he chooses the assistant coaches. The last Head-coach that stood up to Al was Jon Gruden, and Al couldn't get rid of him quick enough. No Head-coach with designs on any form of control will get within a thousand miles of the job.

Yeah,it wasn't the cleverest of decisions but kudos to Chad Ochocinco for jumping straight back up,but maybe it's the old-school Raider in me but i love to see defenders make hits like that,i could almost see the ghost of Lyle Alzado nodding in approval.

Yep, i'm a HUGE Ravens fan and even i've gotta admit that for someone as game-savvy as "Ray Ray" usually is that was pretty stupid. There's a fine line between intensity and plain daft, i'm sure that if Mr Lewis could have that play back, he'd slam the brakes on next time around. I bet as team leader he had a hard time explaining that one away to his team-mates afterwards!! Of course it was made to look all the worse by the fella's helmet flying through the air, at one point i thought his head was still in it!!!laugh It was soooo late as well, you could have almost read a book between the attempted catch and the hit......And on 4th down too.... WTF, Ray??!!

Still, even one of the greatest MLB's ever to put on a helmet is entitled to one screw-up, despite that the Ravens will still comfortably make the playoffs.

Has he always been like that(Al Davis) going way back to when you had Madden. I know Madden was young but I cant believe he was ever a yes man or put up with that sort of nonsense
