wit team u support then wee man
spurs
who that the shite team that beat them easily at wembly cup wa the second string team out
Haha in a friendly? Against the Spurs 3rd string? With your central defenders having the games of their career? How many shots were cleared off of the line?
I think that if Celtic faced any of the 8 top clubs in the EPL (Man U, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, Villa, Spurs, Everton, Man City) tomorrow and got a draw, they would of done extremely well. There is no way that Celtic would win the league within 5 years of entering it. With the top 3 (sorry Arsenal you are a good team I just do not consider you title contenders anymore, same with Liverpool the way they have started this season actually) the way they seem to be every season.
You would be a mid to lower table club and if you had time to build you would be Europa league quality, you would not make the top 4 unless the planets aligned and there were a set of freak occurences.
You're not for this world, this world is for you.

RE: Celtic and Rangers in premier league?
Haha I think he has got a warped sense of reality, who gives a shit what Celtic done in the past? Fans living in the past is useless to everybody, in the present you are just not very good. The Old Firm clash may be considered a classic but I fail to see how that has any bearing on a debate about how Celtic would do in the Premier League. Btw, as big as Man U globally? WTF? What are you smoking? Just had a quick check on the internet, 9 million worldwide for Celtic as of April 2008, at last count Manchester United had 330 million, slight difference.
Also do you remember how well your manager done in the EPL the last time he was in it, wait didn't he get relegated? That is how much of a World Class team Celtic are now, you got your new Manager from the English Championship. Not Serie A, The Bundesliga or La Liga. Fuck, not even the Premiership. The Championship.
Love how you also bite yourself in the arse in your own argument, you cannot attract players away from Hull, Sunderland or Blackburn? LOL and you expect you would be able to win the Premiership within 5 years of joining it? You are so deluded "m8" (honestly how hard is it to type mate? Or to even use a punctuation mark FFS).
You're not for this world, this world is for you.

RE: Celtic and Rangers in premier league?
wot about the affect the Celtic and Rangers wud have on Scottish national team. As it is the scots seem to complain that there's not enuf quality players. Rangers n Celtic r by far the 2 best teams in that league, which in my opinion is very poor. Now imagine if they left, how much poorer it'd get. Not to mention that the players from the other teams won't benefit from having to play against half decent players. Then there's the financial implications. Sponsors will pull out, cos Rangers and Celtic r the biggest pullers in that league, then ur looking at the money SFA will lose out on from selling rights to games, as prices will drop dramatically. Losses in revenue of the SFA will affect the money they can put into the grass roots, then ur ending up affecting the kids.
Then wot of the champions league? the team that wins the scottish league, wot is their entry into the champions league? str8 in at the group stage? qualification? If its qualification then we'l never have scottish teams in the champions league which we need as scotland is a proud footballing nation(barring the rangers thugs in manchester 2008).
These too many knock on effects for this 2 ever happen, u got more chance of the European Super League of happening than this. As also mentioned on ere, they can't jus waltz into the premier league! that'd mean 5 teams wud have to be relegated in order for 3 to b promoted in that season, or 1 relegated n none promoted, thats hardly fair! they'd have to start at the bottom which wud b pointless 4 them.
I personally think they'd b a mid-table team in the premier league, lets face it, the best players in that league at the moment is arguably Aidean Mcgeady? Mcdonald? Brown? Boruc? Mendes? Hardly world class now r they?
the greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist
