No wonder that he's so grumpy.

Rain is delaying the start of play this morning. And Anderson is stuck on 599 wickets. Buttler dropped the latest chance off his bowling.

It's day 4 with lots of rain forcast, so it's possible that Anderson may never get to 600 wickets.

The Indian sub continent is not suitable to a seam bowler of his type, so he may not even get picked to play.

That would then mean that he'd have to wait till next summer before he'd get another chance. And as he'd then be 39 he may just decide to retire.

Probably has to be one of England's greatest ever fast bowlers if Broad retire with him who could England loook to in future as a fat bowling partnership?

I certainly don't think that Broad will, as he's 34.

Outside these two England still have fast bowling in Archer, Wood, Woakes and also Curran.

I know you wasn't but I would think it would be a shame if he id retire & be stuck on 599 wickets that would be gutting for him and it would be a long wait for him to get it if he wasn't picked for India.
