Wasn’t expecting that last night on Impact. Thought EY would get the impact championship but not till BFG next month.

Also some interesting feuds set up in the knockouts division too last night

It smacks of a cheap stunt to counter the new NXT champ, only WWE managed to delay that a week.

ISTR a similar thing when RVD won the belt out of nowhere to contrast with something WWE were doing. And indeed Eric's original title reign meant to contrast with Daniel Bryan.

So they're serial idiots, even under different production teams.

I think eric young is a better option to be the champ at the moment then eddie edwards who looks like a plumber.
Impact should try and get nick aldis back but i think nwa and aew are working together doing a sort of invasion angle

I think a good idea would be impacts owners buying nwa off billy corgan and renaming it nwa impact bring it all back to where it started

I think you or kingy or rammy would be better Impact world champions than Eric Young!

If Billy Corgan had been able to buy TNA, he wouldn't have been thick enough to put the belt on Eric Young (I guess).

Just watched this week's impact and they have only gone and made Eric Young the world champion wtf,
That makes no sense at all, he's done nothing since resigning for TNA he's not hot or over with the fans, such a strange choice,
It's just been poor booking of the belt since it went on Eddy who let's be honest looks like a Jobber not a top wrestler you would not now it's the same man who won the belt first time around ,
There is talk on line that they just wanted to have lots of world title matches to make everyone forgot what had gone on with the belt at the start of the year but all its doing is make it look cheep and a belt that's not important, this latest change isn't going to help things

Young is an improvement on eddie edwards imo...

I was shocked to find out impact only get 100k viewers these days in the us They got more than that on challange in the uk

agree he's an upgrade on Eddie but thats not saying a lot, they did lose most of there main eventers in the spring,

they are on a tiny network in the usa, although AXS is available in 50 million homes in usa on cable its not free or on a package so needs people to buy it, so most dont lol,
